Here at North Holmwood Pre-school, we are a local registered charity led by our Pre-school leader, Jennie Lambert. The fees we collect cover our day-to-day overheads and equipment/activities are financed by our fun fund-raising events.
We have an amazing group of qualified and experienced staff and we are inspected regularly by Ofsted to ensure National Standards for learning and development are met.
We are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and follow the seven areas of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) set by the Department for Education in which our educators support children to learn and develop:
- Expressive Arts and Design
- Physical Development
- Social, Personal and Emotional Development
- Communication and Language
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the World
We are run by a Management Committee of parents, new members are always welcome and parents are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting at which time the Committee is elected.

Afternoon Session
12.15pm – Lunch (Healthy lunch provided by parents)
12.45pm – Children led activities
1.30pm – Indoor or outdoor physical activities
2.00pm – Children led activities
2.30pm – Dancing & singing
2.45pm – Story time
3.15pm – Collection
